Contributing to the Learning Hub

We’re keen to create a space where everyone can share learning, examples of best practice and resources that can help improve services and support for people experiencing multiple disadvantage. In order to create a useful platform and resource provision, anything shared through the Changing Futures Learning Hub needs to:

  1. Contribute to improving services and support for people in the Changing Futures client groups:

  • Young people from black and minoritised ethnic communities (black African/black Caribbean/dual heritage), aged 16 to 25, whose experience of multiple disadvantage is compounded by discrimination, and who are involved with the criminal justice system. Young people will have moved from or be in the process of moving from children to adult services.

  • Women experiencing domestic abuse and multiple disadvantage.

  • People experiencing multiple disadvantage with long term homelessness histories and mental ill-health, whose behaviour indicates complex/compound trauma.

And/or:

2. Relate to Changing Futures’ four programme priorities:

  • Embed My Team Around Me learning across the system

  • Commissioning for complexity, including earlier intervention and support

  • Creating the right conditions for lasting change

  • Shared safety planning
