How do we create a safe space to hold conversations on racial trauma? And how do we model allyship?
Racial trauma is the ongoing result of exposure to racism and bias. Thought to be widespread among minoritised groups, racial trauma can have wide ranging impact on a person’s life and the lives of people around them.
This webinar aims to explore ways in which we can facilitate difficult conversations about racial trauma and how this fits in with trauma informed practice. We’ll be looking at what the barriers are that typically inhibit us from having those conversations and how we can model allyship.
The webinar is open to anyone who works with people facing multiple disadvantage.
