Coproduction Principles Webinar

What does good coproduction look like? How can you apply the six principles of good coproduction to your work practice?

Coproduction is a way of working where organisations work in partnership with their service users and/or people with lived experience to design, review or deliver services.

Coproduction requires everyone to work as equals to see each other’s perspectives and make decisions collaboratively that work for services and service users alike. This ensures that services cater to the needs of the people that use them.

We know that good coproduction is essential to design services that work for people with multiple disadvantage.

One of our aims at Changing Futures was to get organisations from across Bristol to agree on a set of good coproduction principles that everyone could subscribe to and embed in their practice.

On 22 September 2022, we held a Coproduction in Practice event which showcased good examples of coproduction. The attendees then worked together throughout the day to coproduce a set of principles.

This webinar will introduce the six coproduction principles that have emerged from this event. To help participants understand how they could apply them to their work, members of Independent Futures will share case studies of what each principle looks like in practice.

There will also be plenty of time to ask questions and you should leave the session with a better understanding of what good coproduction looks like.
